Steve Behram
Steve Behram, MD, FACOG, is a physician, author, and screenwriter whose work explores medicine, moral uncertainty, institutional power, and the consequences of decisions made under pressure.
Drawing on more than 25 years as a practicing OB/GYN and medical educator, he created OB TRIAGE, a one-hour ensemble medical drama set inside a demanding 1990s residency program. Although its characters and stories are fictional, the series is grounded in the emotional, ethical, and clinical realities of medical training.
Steve is also the author of Below the Horizon and the founder and editor-in-chief of SavagePlanets, a speculative-fiction publication. Through Behram Productions, he develops character-driven film and television projects at the intersection of science, humanity, and accountability.
He is based in the Washington, D.C. area.
