FilmPlatforms is an independent online platform created for filmmakers, industry professionals, and serious film industry participants to exchange knowledge, experience, and professional insight.

The platform is intended exclusively for users who are at least 18 years of age. By registering for an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into legally binding agreements and participate in professional discussions.

FilmPlatforms operates as an independent community-driven discussion platform. All opinions, experiences, reviews, recommendations, ratings, comments, and other user-generated Content published on FilmPlatforms are solely those of their respective authors and do not represent the views, opinions, recommendations, endorsements, or official position of FilmPlatforms, its owners, operators, administrators, moderators, employees, affiliates, or partners.

Users are solely responsible for all Content they publish, upload, transmit, or otherwise make available through FilmPlatforms. By submitting Content, users represent and warrant that they own or otherwise possess all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and legal authority to publish such Content.

Users acknowledge that FilmPlatforms operates solely as a hosting and discussion platform for user-generated Content. Except where required by applicable law, FilmPlatforms does not routinely monitor or verify user-generated Content and makes no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, legality, reliability, authenticity, or availability of any Content published by users.

FilmPlatforms does not routinely monitor, pre-screen, review, verify, fact-check, approve, or endorse user-generated Content prior to publication and is under no general obligation to do so. The publication or continued availability of any Content does not imply that FilmPlatforms has reviewed, verified, approved, endorsed, or adopted such Content.

Users must not publish Content that knowingly violates applicable law or infringes the rights of others, including copyright, trademark, patent, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contractual, or other legal rights. Users must not knowingly publish false, defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise unlawful material.

FilmPlatforms does not provide legal, financial, accounting, tax, investment, business, production, distribution, or other professional advice. All discussions relating to contracts, financing, distribution, royalties, film markets, festivals, investments, or career decisions are shared solely for informational and discussion purposes. You remain solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on information available through the platform.

FilmPlatforms does not independently verify statements, opinions, reviews, recommendations, ratings, or experiences shared by users regarding any company, organization, distributor, sales agent, producer, investor, film festival, service provider, product, individual, or any other third party. Such Content represents solely the personal opinions or experiences of the respective users and should not be interpreted as verified fact or as an official statement or endorsement by FilmPlatforms.

By submitting Content to FilmPlatforms, including forum posts, comments, private messages, reviews, ratings, images, photographs, videos, audio, documents, files, links, and uploaded materials ("Content"), you confirm that:

• You own the Content or have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and authorizations required to publish it.
• Your Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, contractual rights, or any other legal rights of any third party.
• Your Content complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Your Content does not knowingly contain false, defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, unlawful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise prohibited material.

You retain ownership and copyright of your original Content. By publishing Content on FilmPlatforms, you grant FilmPlatforms a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, archive, index, cache, feature, quote, promote, and otherwise use such Content solely in connection with the operation, maintenance, security, development, promotion, and marketing of FilmPlatforms. This includes the right to feature, quote, repost, and share your Content, in whole or in part, through FilmPlatforms' official website, newsletters, blog, and official social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and similar platforms.

FilmPlatforms reserves the right, but not the obligation, to investigate, review, moderate, edit, restrict, archive, remove, disable access to, or refuse any Content or user account where it reasonably believes such action is necessary to enforce these Terms & Rules, protect the platform or its users, comply with applicable law, respond to legal requests, protect the rights of third parties, or safeguard the professional integrity of the community.

If any individual, company, organization, or rights holder believes that Content published on FilmPlatforms infringes their intellectual property rights, reputation, privacy rights, or other legal rights, or otherwise violates applicable law, they may contact us through our official contact channels. FilmPlatforms reserves the right to investigate such reports and, where appropriate, edit, restrict, remove, disable access to, or otherwise take action regarding the relevant Content or user account.

Access to certain areas of FilmPlatforms may be limited based on user role, professional verification, experience level, reputation, or other criteria determined by FilmPlatforms. FilmPlatforms is under no obligation to grant or maintain access to any section of the platform.

FilmPlatforms may update these Terms & Rules from time to time. Continued use of the platform after any changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms & Rules, you must not register for or continue using FilmPlatforms. If you wish to close your account, you may do so by contacting us through the platform's official contact channels.

Unless otherwise stated, the FilmPlatforms name, logo, branding, website design, layout, original editorial content, articles, interviews, graphics, databases, and the compilation of Content available on FilmPlatforms are the intellectual property of FilmPlatforms or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as permitted by applicable law or with the prior written permission of FilmPlatforms, they may not be copied, reproduced, republished, redistributed, modified, commercially exploited, or used to create competing products or services.

Automated scraping, harvesting, extraction, indexing, or collection of Content from FilmPlatforms using bots, scripts, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning systems, or similar technologies is prohibited without the prior written permission of FilmPlatforms.

Nothing in these Terms & Rules shall limit or exclude any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms & Rules shall be construed as creating any partnership, agency, employment, joint venture, or similar legal relationship between FilmPlatforms and any user.
