★ Valued Contributor – Community Recognition​

At FilmPlatforms, we believe great communities are built by people who help one another.

The ★ Valued Contributor badge recognizes members who make a meaningful difference by sharing industry knowledge, offering practical advice, providing constructive feedback, and supporting fellow filmmakers.

Who Can Receive It?​

Any FilmPlatforms member can earn this recognition, regardless of their experience level, professional background, or how long they've been part of the community.

How Is It Awarded?​

The FilmPlatforms team reviews community contributions monthly and may award the badge to members who have made a meaningful difference.

There is no fixed number of recipients, and badges are awarded only when genuinely earned. Selection is based on the quality and consistency of contributions, not simply the number of posts.

Members considered for this recognition are expected to participate actively in meaningful discussions, contribute to conversations beyond their own projects, and offer genuine support to fellow members.

They should also have a completed profile, including a profile picture and a meaningful About section describing their professional background, experience, or creative interests.

The badge appears beneath the member's username. It does not expire monthly, but FilmPlatforms reserves the right to review or withdraw it at any time.

Recipients are not individually notified or publicly announced.

Exclusive Benefit – Film Marketability Review​

As an additional benefit, ★ Valued Contributor members may request a complimentary Film Marketability Review from Cinema Doktor.

Members interested in this opportunity can submit a project overview of up to 5 pages for an assessment from an international film sales and distribution perspective.

This is a commercial assessment, not a full screenplay review.

The review focuses on:

• Commercial potential and international market positioning
• Key strengths and weaknesses from a sales perspective
• Potential audiences and distribution opportunities
• Practical recommendations to improve marketability

How to Request a Review​

Contact FilmPlatforms Admin via private message or email info@filmplatforms.com to request a review. Once your request has been confirmed, you may submit your project materials.

Reviews are provided upon request, subject to approval and availability. Submissions are handled privately, and feedback is advisory, without any guarantee of financing, representation, sales, or distribution.
