Hi everyone,

I'm interested in hearing from writers, filmmakers, and producers about the projects they're currently developing.

Some projects are still at the idea or treatment stage, while others already have a completed screenplay and are looking for the right next step.

I'm curious to know:

  • What kind of film or series are you working on?
  • What stage is your project currently at?
  • What's the biggest challenge you're facing in moving it forward?

I'm open to different genres, including romance, thriller, comedy, drama, and science fiction.

Feel free to share a little about your project in the comments. If you'd prefer to discuss it privately, you're welcome to send me a direct message.

Looking forward to hearing what everyone is working on and getting to know more people in the community.

Hi Ambrose, interesting discussion!

We're currently involved in film sales and distribution, and there's also a potential new film project we'd love to be part of, although that's probably still a few months away.

One thing I think many filmmakers should keep in mind is that, alongside funding and a strong screenplay, having all the legal documentation in order is essential. Clear ownership of rights, proper agreements, and a solid chain of title can make all the difference when it comes to selling or distributing a film.

Sometimes projects don't get stuck because of creative issues, but because of business or legal details that weren't considered early enough.

Thanks for sharing this insight. I agree that having the legal side in order is just as important as having a strong screenplay and securing funding. Clear ownership of rights, proper agreements, and a solid chain of title can make a real difference when a project reaches the sales and distribution stage. These details are worth considering early in development, rather than waiting until the film is ready for the market. Appreciate you bringing this important point into the discussion.
