FilmPlatforms Is Expanding – Introducing Our New Video Channel!
We're excited to announce another step in the growth of FilmPlatforms: we've launched our official YouTube channel!YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@filmplatforms
Our goal is to bring greater visibility to filmmakers, creative projects, industry professionals, and companies beyond the forum itself.
Over time, our video channels may feature project presentations, industry interviews, company spotlights, professional insights, and other content relevant to the international film community.
Our First Initiative: FilmPlatforms Member Spotlight
We're starting with Member Spotlight, a new series giving community members an opportunity to introduce themselves, showcase their projects, and share what they're looking for whether that's collaborators, producers, financing, distribution, or other industry connections.How does it work?
We'll initially invite members individually to record a short, vertical video (around 60 seconds) introducing themselves and their work.
No professional equipment, editing, or scripted presentation needed. Just a natural introduction to you and your project.
We're aiming to feature one new video each week.
With their prior permission, participating members' videos may be shared across FilmPlatforms' official media channels, including YouTube and our current or future social media platforms, helping their work reach a wider audience.
Our aim is simple: to make FilmPlatforms more than a place for discussions a community that helps people, projects, and businesses get discovered, build meaningful connections, and explore new opportunities.
