After 22 years in the Army and two Austin Film Festival Second Round finishes, I wanted one place to break a story the way a real room does: a story wall, beat generators, storyboards, pitch docs, and a tracker for the business side. I couldn't find one, so I built it.

Writers Room is a single HTML file that runs offline in your browser. You don't need an account or a subscription, and your pages never leave your machine.

Try the demo: https://writers-room-app.netlify.app/demo.html

I'd love to hear what other writers think, and what you'd add.

This looks very overwhelming and I was looking to find a specific works under that - in full honesty - I would open it and close the page immediately.

Then there came the nice little box about the cost. $59 or $29 for early bird? If this is not mandatory, please make that clearer.

This is almost perfect. Maybe have a drop down at the very top that would allow searching for specific parts easier?

Being transparent, I would usually run github for projects which is completely free. Feel free to check it out so you have a comparison (https://anderson-mark-ian.github.io/) and files are usually stored on Google Drive - with access permissions given to specific files when required to save unwanted searches.

Great idea but a little development still required!

I hope this honest feedback helps?
