I’ve been spending time across FilmPlatforms this week - not just sharing Bloom, but actively engaging with other creators’ work. The conversations, the insights, the honesty… it’s been a reminder that development isn’t just about building your own project, but learning from the people around you.
Bloom is now entering a more serious phase of refinement. The full screenplay, world and character bibles, and 9‑track sample soundtrack are already complete. The development‑editor pass on the opening is underway, and the National Lottery Project Grant application for the proof‑of‑concept scene is submitted. Once that animated sequence exists, Bloom moves from “a project on paper” to “a project you can actually see.”
Seeing how others here are pushing their projects forward has been motivating. So here are 2 questions for the community:
1. What’s the single biggest shift your project has gone through since you first started it?
2. What’s one thing you’ve learned from another creator on this platform that’s helped your own project?
