So a little bit of cool news, yesterday I received a beautifully bounded copy of the "The Thistleball" w/photos! It's condition is perfect! The original is old musty, a bit tattered, you can smell the history when you open it up....The new one w/photos, I just received is shiny and bright!

It's always interesting to come across an unpublished manuscript with well-documented provenance.

One question came to mind from a producer's perspective: have you already prepared a brief rights overview outlining which rights are currently available, such as publishing and film/TV adaptation rights?

I think that kind of information can make it much easier for publishers, producers, and literary agents to quickly evaluate whether the project might fit their interests.

Hi Ryan, thanks for reaching out. I own 50% of all sales, publishing, rights, etc. I have all final contractual control. My very first post might explain a little better, but basically I own 50% of everything and full control, I also have a clause in the contracts that state, my fundraising efforts and expenses are my own and unrelated to the publishing contract,

So I wanted to make clear for everyone, this more this is evolving, and the more discussions I've been having with industry professionals, is this might workk as a series of some sort, I'm starting to agree because of its volume, 90,000 words or so 5 chapters, and many parts in each chapter.
But ultimately I will purse all workable adaptations. That being said, I'd love to hear some thoughts! Thanks so much!

Discoveries like this are always fascinating, but they also highlight how important provenance and a clear chain of title are before any adaptation or commercial discussions begin. If the documentation is complete, unpublished literary material like this can certainly attract producers looking for distinctive source material. I'll be interested to see how this develops.

The "CCEA" ( Center for Cinematic and Experimental Arts in NYC ) has agreed to be my fiscal sponsorship manager for "The Thistleball", Story Of An Actor's Life, By Bramwell Fletcher. I'll have another update when the sites up and running on CCEA's Website. Today is a pretty awesome day, and I'm so very grateful to Film Platforms and it's professionals for all of their support, this site, without a doubt, has had a crucial role in helping me get this out there, and I'll always be forever grateful!
