Hi all,

I just wanted to say how genuinely impressed I’ve been with the level of professionalism and kindness on this platform. The way people here support each other - offering thoughts, encouragement, and real conversation - is something I haven’t seen anywhere else at this level.

I’m happy to share that I’ve now completed my Phase 1 amendments for Bloom, and I’m currently awaiting final feedback on my first 10 pages. That feedback was offered as a complimentary gesture by an industry professional simply because I’ve tried to be polite, engaged, and genuinely helpful wherever I can. It meant a lot.

And after receiving 2 5‑star logline reviews via Stage 32, Bloom is starting to feel less like a hopeful idea and more like a genuine reality taking shape.

Thank you to everyone who’s connected, messaged, or shared conversations with me so far. I’m here for anyone who needs a hand with written work, wants to bounce ideas around, or just wants to connect and say hi. This community works because people show up for each other.

One small piece of advice I can offer: make use of everything this platform gives you. Read the blogs, learn from the examples, be inspired by those who’ve succeeded and those who simply refuse to give up - and most importantly, help each other. If the industry grows, so do the opportunities for all of us.

Mark, this is a great example of something that’s easy to overlook: moving your own project forward and supporting other people’s work don’t have to be separate things. Often, one creates opportunities for the other.

It’s great to see Bloom moving forward. When you get the feedback on those first 10 pages, come back and tell us what surprised you most — it could spark a really useful discussion for other writers here too.
