Hi! I'm an independent Brazilian screenwriter and composer looking for a 2D animator to collaborate on The Painter (working title), an original animated short film without dialogue.
The story follows an artist through different stages of his life, exploring creativity, frustration, artistic identity, and personal growth.
The film is divided into three parts, but I'd like to produce only the first part initially, approximately 2–3 minutes long.
Set in 1997, this first chapter follows a young painter who struggles with his artistic identity, realizing that his work imitates the artists he admires.
I'm looking for an animator interested in contributing creatively to the visual style and storytelling. I will be responsible for the screenplay and original soundtrack.
This is initially an unpaid creative collaboration, open to beginners, students, and independent animators, with proper credits.
