A script can be well-written and still struggle to find a buyer. But is the problem really the script, or is it the way the project is positioned and presented to the market?
I'm curious to hear your thoughts: What do you think is the biggest challenge for screenwriters today getting honest feedback, improving their scripts, or finding the right people to buy their work?

Let's discuss.

Genre
  1. Drama
  2. Comedy
  3. Action
  4. Thriller
  5. Horror
  6. Sci-fi
  7. Fantasy
  8. Documentary
  9. Animation
  10. Arthouse
  11. Family
  12. General / Multiple Genres
From a distribution perspective, a great script alone isn't enough. It also matters what buyers are looking for at that particular moment, which genres are in demand, and what can realistically sell. The market can shift quickly, and what looks commercially attractive today may be a much harder sell six months from now.
